Water waves

The geometric “water wave” applique design represents the importance water plays in the survival of all things, the life force carried by the water through countless miles, and the cycle of the water itself. Water is flexible enough to pass through any terrain but strong enough to make its own path if needed, our hope is the same for the future of our People. The red ribbon represents the life force in all animate and inanimate objects, the green ribbon represents the flora and fauna of our planet. The black represents the spiritual realm or the underworld and the spaces we as humans do not occupy.
